  • Defibrillators in Swardeston

    The parish council owns and maintains a defibrillator which is located on the side wall of Production Bureau in Main Road and is checked on a daily basis.

    There is a second defibrillator at the village hall with is owned and managed by the village hall trustees.

  • Communication

    There are two notice boards in the village, the parish council’s notice board is on the wall of the bakery in Main Road. Statutory notices, notices of parish council meetings and copies of meeting minutes are published here.

    There is also a notice board on the wall at the village hall which is used to keep residents informed about a variety of issues and events.

  • Swardeston Parish Council

    Swardeston Parish Council has 7 elected members who represent and serve the local community, there is a vacancy which can be filled . They meet on the second Thursday of every month at Swardeston village hall meetings commence at 7:30pm. All meetings are open to members of the public.

    Elections are held every four years and the last one was held on 4th May 2023.

    Copies of agendas are posted in advance for all meetings on the Parish Council website.

    Minutes of previous meetings are available from the top menu by selecting “meetings”. The last meeting minutes are draft until approved at the following meeting, for more information please contact the clerk.
